In this course students will use the Scribbler robot to explore coding, science, math, music, and art! Girls and boys delight in programming Scribbler robots to draw amazing things, dance the Hokey Pokey (or other dance routines), flash its lights, make music, and compete to show off skills learned.
The hole in the center holds a pen to draw, and students must use math and geometry to control the robot and create their drawing. No assembly is required for the robot, making it easy to get started rapidly in each class and complete coding challenges.
The students use Scribbler to learn coding and engineering concepts, and reinforce STEM topics like measuring, calculating diameter, radius, sound waves, light, the electromagnetic spectrum, and electricity.
Competitions include mazes, line following, drawing, and dance routines to keep students engaged and coming back for more!
